In 2000, Gayle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. After graduation, Gayle set about fulfilling her desire to travel and experience the world of people, places, and physiotherapy. These travels took her across Europe and Eastern Canada, before settling in Calgary in 2003. Along the way, she gained valuable knowledge in pediatric physiotherapy, seniors health, orthopedics, and found passion and intrigue in the practice and powers of acupuncture. Always pursuing academic and professional achievement, Gayle is a qualified IMS and acupuncture practitioner. She is also one of a few physiotherapists in Calgary certified to treat pelvic health disorders such as urinary incontinence.  She is also a certified practitioner of Rost Therapy and treats pregnancy-related pelvic pain. Gayle succeeds as a physiotherapist in private practice and prides herself in empathetic, personalized patient care.

A native Calgarian, Nancy has been practicing physiotherapy since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has worked in a variety of private practices in Calgary for 28 years acquiring diverse experiences. Nancy’s love for athletics and fitness led her to focus on sports medicine and orthopedics early in her career. Since 1992, Nancy has worked extensively with arthritis and complex pain conditions. She is also certified in acupuncture and IMS. Today, Nancy's treatment style reflects her successful integration of techniques and philosophies gained through her varied work settings and many ongoing postgraduate studies. Nancy brings energy and commitment to her practice, her profession and her patients.

Certified Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

A University of Alberta graduate, Corina obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995. Corina has spent her physiotherapy career continuously expanding her knowledge and skills which includes certification in Traditional Chinese Medical acupuncture. Corina also has postgraduate training in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and post-obstetrical trauma. She is a sought after therapist in this area and maintains a very busy practice offering much needed help to men and women with pelvic floor dysfunctions. She incorporates both physiotherapy and acupuncture in her active approach treating orthopaedic and sports injuries. Corina brings her dedication to excellence in part from her experience as a nationally ranked athlete as well as her desire for incorporating an extensive holistic approach within her treating philosophy.

Barbara graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1981. Her passion for physiotherapy, health and the movement sciences is complimented by a Bachelor of Physical Education degree (University of Calgary) and ongoing certification as a fitness instructor. During her 27+ years experience as a physiotherapist, she has enjoyed the diversity of treating orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, providing ergonomic consultations and teaching spinal stabilization classes. Barbara has extensive post graduate training, which includes certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (2005) and training in spinal manipulation. In 2008, Barbara successfully completed her Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Examination, and received her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.  She is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMT). Barbara believes physiotherapy services should be client centered and individualized. She incorporates a variety of techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and IMS to achieve successful outcomes, and is particularly interested in evaluating these outcomes for best evidence based practice. Barbara is keen to facilitate injury prevention and optimal function, and looks forward to continuing her practice at Lakeview Physiotherapy & Acupuncture.

Sacha graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005 with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Physiotherapy. Although a Saskatoon girl at heart, she moved to Alberta in 2006 to experience the adventures of mountain and big city living. Since graduating, Sacha has continued to diversify her skills in hands-on, manual treatment. She is certified to practice acupuncture, and has attended many post-graduate courses on pelvic instability, evidence based manual treatment techniques and myofascial release techniques, all of which she incorporates into her whole-body assessment and treatments. She has experience treating sport and work-related injuries, post surgical, chronic low back and neck pain, and acute pain clients. Sacha has a great passion for physiotherapy and enjoys helping her clients successfully reach their goals.

Michelle graduated from the University o
f Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy with distinction.  She began her career in an acute care hospital before continuing on to private practice.   Michelle's extensive post-graduate courses include acupuncture, IMS, manual and manipulative therapy.  From working at various private practices, she has experience working with a number of conditions such as work-related injuries, post-surgery, and repetitive strain injuries.  With her caring and compassionate nature, Michelle strives to return clients to their maximum potential by integrating all the knowledge and skills from her continuing education courses and practical experience.
